Bramayugam Movie Review

Bramayugam movie starts as a ghost story just like our grandma told us to sleep when we were kids.

In the movie Bramayugam 2024, Thivan and Kora, two singers of a palace were the victims and after that horrible event Thivan makes it to a nearby house which is hardly a house but ruins. The story of Bramayugam advances as the cook of the chief of the house shows Thivan his new room and some secrets and history of the big wooden house which was made by a famous carpenter around six generations ago.

One day the chief made him play “Pasha” , a kind of board game (Dice) which he had to play by betting his time. That means if he wins he is free to go but if loses, he have to spend the rest of his life in this wooden house as a singer. And eventually he loses the game.

After an event he hears the real story of the chief from the  cook and in that night he witnesses something that he should not. Next morning he decides to escape from the place as soon as possible.

But how? Will the chief let him go? Or will the cook help him to find a way out? What will happen to him? 

Overall this Bramayugam is pure suspense and a bit of horror scenes may not be shivering though. But full black and white color, cinematography, great set & the environment will make you seated til the last twist.

Bramayugam Ending Explained

When, Thivan comes out of the house, after it was totally set on fire, director shows that after a while the cook also comes out of nowhere.

Then in the next scene, they were fighting and the cook notices that the earring that Thivan had was in his left ear but now, it’s on the right. That means when they both were fighting in the house, the evil took the chance, he collected the ring and become master of himself.

The evil must have changed his form to Thivan, and he finally set him free of the house, and goes to the village in the last scene.
