  Blackmail is a dark comedy thriller movie directed by Abhinay  Deo. This movie stars Mr Irrfan Khan as Dev Kaushal , Arunoday Singh as Ranjit Arora, Kirti Kulhari as Reena Kaushal. Dev Kaushal is a corporate man who has no excitement in life rather a scheduled routine. 7 years back he married Reena as an arranged marriage. But the problem arose when he wanted to surprise her wife. He came back home  from the office with some flower early that day, and through the special hole from the kitchen, he witnessed her beloved wife with her ex-boyfriend, who is now married to a rich household. Rather choosing  the violence, he in order to pay his EMI and other debt, plans to Blackmail his wife’s as well as her paramour. The rest is enjoyable and fun to watch, a kind of thriller. 

On the other hand, some holes and missing dots of connection between reality and story are the main reasons that, this movie is not talked about for a long period of time. For example, Investigator police appears and then they vanishes, also the many unanswered questions may arrive, again also when Ranjeet takes money from the waste bucket scene in the second half.

This movie is a highly recommended movie to watch if you love the dark comedy humor genre.
