What Is The Guna Cave?
The cave, known as “Guna Cave,” holds a tragic history, with 13 people having lost their lives in its depths. Despite efforts, no traces of the victims have ever been found.
Notably, a decade ago, the niece of a central officer fell into the same pit, leading to a futile search despite a reward of 15 lakh rupees. Locals believe the cave to be cursed, even more frightening than the surrounding mountains.
Originally named “Devil’s Kitchen” by the British, it was later renamed “Guna Cave” after being featured in a film by Kamal Haasan.

With a budget of 20 crores and grossing 214 crores, “Manjummel Boys” emerged as a blockbuster hit in the Malayalam industry. Its success extended beyond Tamil Nadu, where it grossed 50 crores, setting a record that may be difficult for other Malayalam films to surpass. The film’s appeal lies not only in its star-studded cast but also in its authentic portrayal of events, solidifying the position of the Malayalam film industry.
While the film is yet to be dubbed into Hindi, I found the studio dubbing to be of satisfactory quality. “Manjummel Boys” is not just a film; it’s an experience that will leave you breathless and craving for more. So buckle up and get ready for a cinematic adventure like no other.
